What is the Religious Missionaries of the Divine Savior?
Religious Missionary of the Divine Savior (RMDS) Order is a religious missionary community that observes the evangelical counsels of a religious life. The RMDS apostolates consist of, the care of the abandoned children and elderly, holistic center for uplifting the dignity and lives of women especially the single and unwed mothers, advocacies for pro-life and anti-abortion and for the spread of devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patroness of the unborn child.
Mother Suzette Tumlos, RMDS, founded the Religious Missionary of the Divine Savior on July 7, 1997. The establishment of the Religious Missionary of the Divine Savior is an embodiment of Mother Suzette’s life-long devotion to God. Together with the members of the RMDS community, Mother Suzette Tumlos continues to be an instrument of God’s love and mercy to abandoned children and the elderly under their care.
The RMDS community found its home in the remote mountains of Rodriguez, Rizal, where the community continues to spread Our Lady of Guadalupe’s message of love. Mother Suzette Tumlos had originally planned to build a small church on the land purchased by RMDS, but by special agreement with the former owner of the land, the Religious Missionaries of the Divine Savior now has 10 hectares of land to help continue nurturing the community.
With the overwhelming blessings given to the community, Mother Suzette, together with the rest of the RMDS community, turned the original plan of building a small church into building the tallest statue of the Our Lady of Guadalupe in the mountains of Rodriguez, Rizal. The statue will also house a church at its base, where mass will be celebrated by the community. Mother Suzette prays that once completed, the statue will attract pilgrims from all over the world to come and pray for guidance, healing, forgiveness, and tranquility.
Mother Suzette Tumlos and the RMDS community would like to invite you to be a part of our spiritual journey in honoring Mother Mary with the tallest statue of the Our Lady of Guadalupe. The project is a huge undertaking for the community, and we pray that everyone would come together to make this dream a reality.
“Let your heart not be disturbed. Am I not here who is your Mother? Are you not under my protection? Am I not the source of your joy? Are you not in the mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need anything more? Let nothing else worry or disturb you”
